Hardboard sheet 2440x1220 3.2mm

Hardboard is a versatile, low cost panel product typically used for surface protection, furniture backing or protective cladding. Whilst thin at only 3.2mm thick it is very dense and therefore has a hard surface, however it can easily be cut by hand using a woodsaw.
Hardboard is manufacturered by breaking down wood to a fibre level and compressing it under high pressure; this cuases the lignin in the wood fibres to bond them together.
